Liza Snyder considered herself an artist at an early age. After studying printmaking and obtaining a BFA from Auburn University in 2001, she put down creating for a long season - almost ten years. She and her husband spent those years renovating historic houses and starting a family in Birmingham, AL. A friend’s urging and a personal awakening allowed her practice of art to reemerge. Today, her artwork is reflective of the beauty and wonder surrounding her home and studio in Florida. Liza hopes that her art invites you to both joy and contemplation.
Life with her husband and three kids is colorful and chaotic - everything she creates "embraces the imperfect." When she's not in the studio or dreaming up a new way to share art, she loves to read, thrift, travel, and connect with others. Her home and art studio are located on the Choctawhatchee Bay, just north of Scenic Highway 30-A in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
